Team Hosting Responsibilities
For the 2026 Summer Swim Meet Season:
This season we are hosting THREE swim meets for our CCSL swim meets.
- May 23rd
- June 13th
- June 20th
WHAT TO BRING:
- Black Swimsuit
- Towel
- Goggles
- Bleacher seats (optional)
- Healthy snacks
- Water
Since this meet is held indoors, no tent or tarps are needed.
VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN
Volunteers (other than set-up crew) will check-in with Jessica Hazzard who will be located on the far side of the spectator area nearest the diving block.
MEET TIMELINE
- 6:30am - Setup Begins
- 6:45am - Swimmer & Volunteer Check-in
*All swimmers need to check-in with coach prior to warm up
**All volunteers need to check-in with Jessica Hazzard - 7:00am - Texas City Makos Warm Up
- 7:20am - Visiting Team Warm Up
- 7:30am - All scratches due to clerk of course
- Clerk will be located on the far end of the spectator area closest to the diving block.
- 7:30am - Officials Meeting
- 7:40am - Timers Meeting
- 7:50am - Events 1-10 to the Ready Area
- 7:55am - National Anthem
- 8:00am - Meet Start
We will take a short break between events 40 and 41
MEET CLEANUP
We ask that ALL swimmers and families contribute to the cleanup after the meet. Cleanup tasks include and are not limited to:
- Cleanup stray trash
- Put ready-area benches away
- Put away touch pads
- Put away any ropes/stanchions blocking off pool deck
- Put away chairs behind the diving block
- Put away markers from bulkhead
If everyone hangs back a few minutes to help with clean-up, we should be done very quickly.
